Police have detained two men including one with a "Datuk" title and seized various items including an air pistol during a roadblock at the Jawi Toll Plaza near Nibong Tebal, Penang, yesterday. The police, who were conducting checks at the roadblock mounted in conjunction with the movement control order (MCO), stopped a luxury vehicle at about 2am after the duo were behaving suspiciously. They also failed to provide a valid reason for flouting the MCO, according to a source. Checks on the vehicle, which used fake registration numbers, also unveiled various tools believed to be used for stealing cars.
