Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim confirmed that police has received a report that Malaysian Armed Forces members were allegedly pelted with various objects by some residents at Selangor Mansion. Mazlan (photo) said the incident took place on April 8 when the soldiers were installing concertina wire in the area. “The complainant had lodged the police report because his personnel informed that some Selangor Mansion residents had thrown objects such as bottles, bags of garbage and flowerpots,” he said in a statement today. He said no injuries were reported, and the case is being investigated under sections 511 and 324 of the Penal Code for attempting to cause harm to a civil servant.
