PKR has denied withdrawing its support for Langkawi MP Dr Mahathir Mohamad to become prime minister. In a statement today, the party’s communications director Fahmi Fadzil said no such decision was made during the PKR central leadership committee meeting on Sunday, contrary to a report by Sinchew Daily this evening. “I was present at the meeting and have reviewed the minutes and wish to inform that the matter was not discussed nor decided upon by the committee.
