Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd has appointed Datuk Seri Tajuddin Atan as its new chairperson effective tomorrow, succeeding Mohd Munir Abdul Majid whose tenure ends today. Tajuddin previously served as Bursa Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer and executive director between 2011 and 2019, and prior to that, he was in leadership roles at RHB Banking Group, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd and Bank Simpanan Nasional.
