Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) has offered a scholarship to Veveonah Mosibin to pursue a bachelor’s degree at the university. Veveonah previously made headlines after she posted a video of herself climbing a tree to obtain decent enough Internet connection to complete several online examinations. In a Facebook post today, UMS vice-chancellor Taufiq Yap Yun Hin announced the university’s offer to the 18-year-old. “UMS is pleased to offer a scholarship to Veveonah Mosibin, who has completed her Asasi Sains (Foundation in Science) course at UMS, to continue her bachelor’s degree at UMS [...] “Veveonah is a smart student and has always been proactive during her course.
