KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia continues to stay in the double digits with 16 new Covid-19 cases reported as of noon, pushing the total number of cases to 8,831. In a statement, health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said eight cases were imported, and another eight were local transmissions. Four of the imported cases were Malaysians and another four involved permanent residents and those who were allowed to enter Malaysia for work.
