Family members are allowed to visit inmates on Aug 1 and 2, in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. The Prisons Department in a statement said, however, no visitation is allowed on the first day of Aidiladha on July 31. “This is applicable to all prisons, correctional centres, detention centres and the Henry Gurney School. “Visitors must adhere to the regulations set by the Prisons Department that the priority is given to family members of Muslim inmates,” the statement said.
