Deputy Chief Minister Christina Liew said travellers from countries declared Covid-19 free or “green” regions such as China would be allowed to come to the state. Liew is expected to meet with China’s consul-general in Kota Kinabalu next week on restarting tourism between Sabah and China. “Not all of China has been affected badly by Covid-19. We are looking forward to this in September. All of the agencies under the state tourism, culture and environment ministry are now working on this matter,” she said during her visit to the local night market in Gaya Street here tonight.
