Deferred loan/financing repayments under the moratorium, which took effect on April 1 as part of the Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package (Prihatin), are estimated to have reached RM55.2 billion as at July 13. Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz (above) said of the total, RM19.3 billion was utilised by the business sector while RM35.9 billion was utilised by the public.
