Imri Mokhtar is TM’s new managing director and group CEO.KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has announced the appointment of Imri Mokhtar as its new managing director (MD) and group CEO, effective Aug 1. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TM said Imri will succeed former MD/GCEO Noor Kamarul Anuar Nuruddin, who had resigned from his post, effective today. Imri, 47, brings with him over 24 years’ of experience in telecommunications and strategy. His last position was as chief operations officer (COO) at Celcom Axiata Bhd since May 1, 2020, where he was responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the organisation and providing leadership in technology and identifying functions within the enabler group.
