PETALING JAYA: The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) will see a change of guard at the end of July when CEO Ali Salman leaves the think tank. In a statement, IDEAS said Ali would replaced by its former chief operating officer Tricia Yeoh. Ali, who is from Pakistan, joined IDEAS in 2017. He took over as CEO from Wan Saiful Wan Jan who left to join politics. “It was an enriching and rewarding professional experience to work in a prominent independent think tank of Malaysia during these turbulent times and indeed an honour to develop and lead a great team,” he said.
