Pakatan Harapan is prepared to consider admitting former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s new party as a component party, said coalition chairperson Anwar Ibrahim. However, he said he has yet to receive any such request from Mahathir. “He didn’t ask,” Anwar replied when queried on whether Harapan would accept Mahahtir’s newly established party as a component party. “If he asks, we will consider it. Let him ask first,” he told reporters after a political roadshow held in Shah Alam tonight.
