A child from a rich family has better access to early education and extra classes compared to a child from a poorer family, says an analyst.PETALING JAYA: Education policies must be changed if Malaysia is to meet its target of eradicating poverty by 2030, according to an economist. “The government need not introduce some new bizarre policy (but should) reevaluate existing education policies and how it can empower the poor,” said Adli Amirullah, a senior economist at the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs.
