Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mohd Redzuan Yusof.KUALA TERENGGANU: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions) Mohd Redzuan Yusof has proposed that the government set up a medical centre for the Civil Defence Force (APM) given the huge number of its volunteers. “The number of APM volunteers now has exceeded 2.2 million people, with tens of thousands still active. So it is apt to have a medical centre for APM, like the one for the armed forces, in appreciation of their services and contributions to the society,” he told a media conference here last night. This was after he presented the instrument of appointment to 34 APM officers, comprising academics and professionals.
