Police have arrested a Nepali man whom they identified as a suspect in their probe into a widely shared video depicting a man physically assaulting a Nepali security guard. In a statement, Wangsa Maju district police chief Supt Rajab Ahad Ismail said the 34-year-old was detained at about 5pm today. "Based on information from the public as well as cooperation from the Nepali Embassy, the Wangsa Maju police arrested a male Nepali national suspected to be involved in this case at about 5pm on Aug 3, 2020. "The 34-year-old suspect is now held at the Wangsa Maju district police station for further investigation, he said, adding that the suspect will be remanded tomorrow.
