Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has appointed former Perak menteri besar Zambry Abd Kadir as its non-independent non-executive chairperson, effective Aug 12, taking over from Zainun Ali. Zambry (above), who is the Pangkor assemblyperson since 2004, and former Perak menteri besar from 2009 to 2018, holds a PhD and Masters from Temple University, US, and a Masters and Bachelors degree in economics from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He also attended the Harvard Leadership Programme at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He has served as professor in practice at Putra Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), adjunct professor at the department of political science, IIUM, CEO of Mind Institute, as well as CEO of Centre for Leadership and Development Studies.
