Lim Guan Eng has questioned MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki over the claim that even former premier Najib Abdul Razak had been detained overnight. To drive home the point, the former finance minister cited a video recording of Najib from 2018 in which the latter said he did not spend a night in the lock up at the MACC headquarters. Lim, on the other hand, had said in a Facebook posting over the weekend that he was forced to change into the orange MACC detainee outfit and slept on the wooden floor of the lock-up without a mattress or pillow unlike his predecessor (Najib). He had said that only MACC could answer if this was double standard or otherwise.
