The Islamic Development Department (Jakim) today lodged a police report against a Twitter account owner (Nicole Fong) who allegedly made false and baseless allegations about the Mukhayyam programme for the Muslim lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Jakim director-general Paimuzi Yahya said the police report was lodged so that further investigations into the false allegations which were uploaded last Thursday could be conducted and to protect the good name of government agencies.
