M Indira Gandhi and her Indira Gandhi Action Team (Ingat) have called off a planned hunger strike after a date was set for a meeting with Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador to inform her about her long-lost daughter Prasana Diksa. Ingat told Malaysiakini that the meeting has now been fixed for 9am on Sept 3 at Bukit Aman. “Ingat is very pleased with the goodwill gesture from the IGP and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). “The meeting will be attended by Indira, Ambiga Sreenevasan, myself and Sachpreetraj Singh Sohanpal, Messrs Raj & Sach,” said Ingat chairperson Arun Dorasamy. “We are looking forward to a complete discussion and briefing on the investigative updates since April 17, 2019, when the special task force to find Indira's daughter was formed," he said.
