A new unit to focus on preventing environmental crimes, especially cases of pollution in the country, has been set up by the Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Ministry. Its minister, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (above) said the unit is expected to start operations next month and will involve the Department of Environment, the National Water Services Commission, Biosafety Department and the police working in cooperation.
