SABAH POLLS | Warisan has sacked a division chief who registered to contest as an independent in the Sabah state election. Now-former Keningau party chief Jake Nointin is one of seven candidates contesting in Liawan against Warisan's official candidate, Rasinin Koutis as well as the candidates from PN, PBS, Usno, LDP and PCS. Warisan secretary-general Loretta Padua announced Jake's sacking in a statement last night, citing the party's constitution which forbids a party member from contesting in an election without permission.
