A moratorium on hire-purchase and housing loans was put in place during the movement control order period and expired in September.KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has called on the government to implement a further six-month extension of the loan moratorium for borrowers from the B40 and M40 income categories.The MTUC also proposed that the government fund a 2% gap in Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributions from employees for 12 months.
