Due to the conditional movement control order (MCO), the hearing of an application to strike out a lawsuit linked to the controversial RM1.25 billion Sarawak solar hybrid energy project has been postponed to Dec 9.The Kuala Lumpur High Court has also put off to Dec 9 the hearing of an application for summary judgment in the suit by business consultant Rayyan Radzwill Abdullah against former Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin (above).Rayyan’s lawyer Ravee G Uthirapathy today informed Malaysiakini that the court informed parties of this postponement via email last week.“On Oct 31 last week, we (Rayyan’s legal team) received notice via email (from the court) that today’s hearing was vacated and the matter will be heard instead on Dec 9,” the lawyer said.On Sept 29, the High Court had initially fixed today to hear both applications.
