SEREMBAN: Water supply will be resumed to residents of Seremban and Port Dickson by Wednesday, following the completion of repair works to shore up the Sungai Linggi river bank.Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan said river water had begun flowing into Sungai Linggi water treatment plant inlet for the raw water pumping process to begin.“The treated water supply will be channelled to consumers in Seremban first until the plant gets sufficient raw water supply to carry out pumping operations for those in Port Dickson,” the company said.More than 45,000 consumers in parts of Port Dickson and Seremban have faced water supply problems since Nov 4.Rantau assemblyman Mohamad Hasan has suggested a new treatment plant be built in Pengkalan Kempas, Port Dickson.He said the new plant would guarantee water supply in the long term as the Sungai Linggi plant in Rantau could no longer accommodate t…
