PARLIAMENT | The government has set up a new special committee led by International Trade and Industries Minister Azmin Ali to review 49 proposals contained in the Electoral Reform Committee's (ERC) final report.Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Takiyuddin Hassan said upon completion of the review process, the government will be ready to reveal contents of the report for public feedback."This is certainly a move that will be taken by the government."I believe the report will also be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat, and if there is a need to do so, it will be debated either directly or indirectly," the de facto law minister said in response to a supplementary question from Khoo Poay Tiong (Harapan-Kota Melaka).Among others, Takiyuddin said the new committee will look into the government's capabilities to implement each proposal, in order of prior…
