The High Court in Temerloh has set this Friday to give a decision on Malaysian Crime Watch Task Force (MyWatch) chairperson R Sri Sanjeevan's application to postpone his jail sentence while waiting for an appeal to be heard over his extortion conviction. Judge Hassan Abdul Ghani made the decision after hearing arguments from lawyer S Preakas who represented Sanjeevan and Deputy Public Prosecutor Law Chin How at a hearing today.At the proceedings, Preakas argued that his client should be given bail until the case is decided at the appeal stage as he had provided good co-operation throughout the case."My client also has health problems due to a gunshot wound to the chest.
