The BN coalition has set up five task forces to perform check-and-balance on the government, said its executive secretary Mohamad Sahfri Ab Aziz today.In a statement, he said this is in line with the BN supreme council’s decision during a March 3 meeting, where it resolved to monitor the government and speak up on the rakyat’s behalf particularly on policies that are of public interest.Each of the task forces would be experts, academics, and community leaders among its members, he said.Former education minister Mahdzir Khalid would lead the education task force, while former finance minister Johari Abdul Ghani would head the economy task force.Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker Azalina Othman Said leads the democracy and law task force, while Mosinal @ Richard Kastum leads the national unity task force.
