COVID-19 | Legoland Malaysia Resort is temporarily closing its facilities in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, after several Covid-19 cases have been detected.“The careful and proactive decision is a precautionary measure in response to a small number of our contractors and employees who tested positive for Covid-19 despite having applied the highest health and safety measures.“The closure applies to Legoland Theme Park, Water Park, Sea Life Aquarium and hotel,” it said in a statement on Wednesday.It said the closure will last several days but did not provide an exact date.Meanwhile, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the ministry has identified the Taman Brick cluster that involved “workers at a recreational centre in Iskandar Puteri”.However, he did not name the recreational centre concerned or say whether it is related to Legoland’s closure.
