The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Abdul Hadi Awang said over 40 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have joined the government to form the #Aid4Palestine secretariat, which aims to raise RM1 million that will be channelled to Palestine.“We had a special discussion involving several community and NGO leaders to take proactive and immediate action to help Palestine in its fight.“We have agreed to form the #Aid4Palestine secretariat, which will be chaired by Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi with the cooperation of over 40 NGOs.“This secretariat will function as a coordinator for the network of NGOs and civil societies to run awareness campaigns among Malaysians about Palestine’s fight, as well as to coordinate the collection of #Aid4Palestine donations through crowdfunding, with a target of RM1 million which will be channelled directly to Palestine,” Hadi (above) …
