A 73-year-old retiree was handed a RM4,000 compound fine for violating standard operating procedure (SOP) when he was spotted at the Sumayyah public market in Tumpat, Kelantan, yesterday, while wearing a pink bracelet and supposedly under home quarantine.Tumpat district police chief Ab Rashid Mat Daud said the man came to the market at 10.45am before being arrested by the authorities.“The man deliberately came to the Sumayah public market in Bandar Baru Tumpat, while he was still wearing a pink bracelet."It is clear that the man has violated the movement control order (MCO) SOP.
