Malaysian authorities have deported US fugitive Scott Barry Uchida, who is wanted in the US for charges of child sexual exploitation and other offences.Bukit Aman CID director Abdul Jalil Hassan said the 38-year-old was arrested in Selangor on April 21 and handed to the Immigration Department to be transferred to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).The fugitive was deported on Wednesday (June 23) via a US military aircraft at Subang Airport, Selangor, said Abdul Jalil in a statement last night.“So far, there are no reports of sexual offences by the subject (Uchida) in Malaysia,” he added.According to a statement from the FBI on Wednesday, Uchida is one of two men wanted in relation to cases of rape, unlawful imprisonment, and commercial sex exploitation against three juveniles. The crimes were allegedly committed between the summer of 2015 and January 2018.“A 15-year-…
