A private clinic in Rawang, Selangor has launched a 24-hour food bank to provide basic food items and necessities to residents in the area.SP Care clinic founder Dr Sathia Prakash Nadarajan said that it was a community project to help those affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.“We launched this food bank next to our clinic in Rawang Mutiara which is open 24 hours.“Anyone who needs it, they can come here and pick up necessities without any conditions. They don’t have to show their IC or register themselves,” he told Malaysiakini.At the same time, Sathia cautioned that no one should try to take advantage by taking items without considering those who really need them.“They will be observed through closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, so we ask everyone to be considerate.
