A man was seriously wounded yesterday after he was attacked by three others with a machete and a sword while investigating his missing magpie near Kampung Pauh Jabit, Bachok, Kelantan.The incident caused Mohd Roslaidi Arifin, 42, to have his right thumb severed and he also sustained injuries to his head, calf, and knee.Bachok District police chief Mohd Ismail Jamaluddin said police received a distress call about the incident around 5.35pm yesterday.Based on the initial reports, he said the victim was attacked by three men, two of whom were known to the victim.“During the investigation, a 27-year-old friend of the victim, who was accompanying him, disclosed that the incident happened after the victim wanted to find a man to discuss his missing magpie, which he believed was stolen two days ago.“However, no police report was made regarding the missing magpie,” Ismail told Malaysi…
