Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for a slipped disc."Thank God, by his grace and aid, I had been discharged from hospital yesterday," Zahid said in a Facebook post today.He thanks all the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who looked after him, as well as his visitors.Among those who had visited Zahid were Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.Zahid also thanked the Yang di-Pertuan Agong who had sent him a get well soon card.Zahid's hospitalisation had caused a delay in his corruption trial over the Foreign Visa System.The case is scheduled to resume next week on Sept 1. - Mkini
