Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) has called on Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob's government to act against a religious preacher for allegedly deriding people of other faiths.The council said videos of his sermon circulated on social media were extreme, racist and filled with hatred.Former Umno MP Tawfik Ismail had also lodged a police report against the preacher for "insulting and defaming Buddhists, Hindus, the Dayak community, as well as other non-Islamic faiths".
"The ustaz accuses falsely that non-Muslims whom he labels as kafirs are planning to kill the Muslims in Malaysia."The videos clearly aim at sowing hatred and inciting the Muslims against Hindus, Buddhists and the Dayak community, including other non-Muslims religions which can lead to a breach of the peace," MCCBCHST sa…
