A traditional medicine practitioner who allegedly preyed sexually upon his female patients has been detained after a soon to be married victim lodged a police report.The 23-year-old victim had sought treatment for a spiritual disorder from the 67-year-old suspect.Pasir Mas District Police Chief ACP Nasaruddin Md Nasir said that on Oct 14, the alleged victim and her mother and future husband went to the suspect’s house in Tendong, Pasir Mas, about 3pm.He said that upon arrival at the scene, the victim was taken to the treatment room by the suspect’s wife and the suspect and victim were then left alone.“While in the treatment room, the suspect began to molest the victim and eventually raped her,” said Nasaruddin.“Upon completion of the ‘treatment’, the suspect warned her not to speak of the incident to anyone and asked the victim to come again for follow-up treatment,” he said a…
