The Johor Legislative Assembly sitting today approved the state Budget 2022.Its speaker Suhaizan Kaiat (above) said the budget was passed with a majority voice as 27 of the assemblypersons raised their hands in support and another 27 abstained, while two were absent.Two assemblypersons - Osman Sapian (Bersatu-Kempas) and Hahasrin Hashim (BN-Panti) - were absent for health reasons while 54 other assemblypersons including former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin (Bersatu-Gambir) were present.Earlier, Menteri Besar Hasni Mohammad when winding up the debate on the state budget, said the state government would double its efforts in making Johor a choice state for investors in view of its strategic location and various agencies as its economic catalysts."I am confident and believe that Johor will be among the states to rise early from the economic crisis due to the Covid-19 pande…
