COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported a total of 31 new Covid-19 fatalities yesterday (Dec 11), bringing the cumulative death toll to 30,862.Malaysia has the highest number of deaths per capita in the Asean and East Asian regions with 933 deaths per 1 million population.From the newly reported deaths yesterday, 22.6 percent or seven died before they could receive treatment at a hospital.Selangor recorded the highest number of new deaths at 10 victims (32.3 percent).Other states with a significant number of newly reported deaths include Sabah (7).The remaining deaths were in Perak (4), Sarawak (4), Kuala Lumpur (2), Kedah (1), Pahang (1), Penang (1) and Terengganu (1).No new deaths were reported in Johor, Kelantan, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Labuan and Putrajaya.
