TOKYO, Sept 20 ― Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will release an updated list of members who have had connections with the controversial Unification Church, Kyodo news agency said today, citing the party's secretary-general.Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's LDP earlier this month announced that 179 out of 379 members it surveyed were found to have interacted with the church. Revelations about the ties came to light after former premier Shinzo Abe was shot during an election rally.
