CORONAVIRUS | Speedhome and KYY Home will provide rent subsidies amounting to RM500,000 to tenants to deal with the tough economic situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Speedhome chief executive officer Wong Whei Meng said in the rent relief programme, two months’ rental will be entirely free for tenants whose incomes have been affected by the pandemic. “Our data shows more than 10 per cent of tenants may not be able to continue paying for their property because of the impact of Covid-19 on their jobs,” he said in a statement today.
