Jeram Padang assemblyperson Manickam Letchuman has urged water concessionaire Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan (Sains) to waive the November bill for houses affected by a flood in Seremban.Manickam said this move will benefit about 1,000 account holders."Their water bills for November will continue to increase as they have to use a lot of water for cleaning purposes."Therefore, I urge Sains, whose chairperson is the menteri besar, to give free water to aid recipients for November."This is doable through Sains' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme," Manickam said in a statement today. The flood, which began on Nov 4, inundated houses in Ampangan, Rahang, Mambau, Rantau, Linggi, Kota and their surrounding areas, he added.
