The Committee to End the Emergency has proposed for 12 opposition politicians to represent it for its upcoming audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.The ad hoc group was formed to urge the ruler to lift the emergency proclamation.Speaking to Malaysiakini, committee chairperson Khalid Samad (above) admitted that they had yet to determine who the 12 will be.“This depends on how many (people) the palace allows.“If possible, we want to bring 12 people so that all opposition leaders can join us,” he said when contacted this evening.The Shah Alam MP elaborated that opposition leaders will meet this Thursday (April 29) to discuss and choose its representatives.“We have yet to finalise this.
