COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported another 103 new Covid-19 deaths yesterday (Oct 12), bringing the cumulative death toll to 27,525.Malaysia is the worst-performing country in Asia in the number of Covid-19 deaths per capita.From the newly reported deaths yesterday, 25.2 percent or 26 died before they received treatment at a hospital.Sarawak recorded the highest number of new deaths at 26, making up 25.2 percent of the newly reported fatalities.The remaining deaths were in Johor (15), Sabah (13), Selangor (13), Kelantan (11), Perak (9), Penang (7), Kedah (6), Negeri Sembilan (1), Perlis (1) and Kuala Lumpur (1).No new deaths were reported in Malacca, Pahang, Terengganu, Labuan and Putrajaya.
