Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Zahidi Zainul Abidin said his ministry will investigate a recorded conversation purported to be between former Malacca chief minister Idris Haron and Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.While expressing disappointment over the allegedly leaked conversation, the Padang Besar MP said the perpetrators of the recording intended to tarnish the politicians’ reputations.“We need to investigate this because such incidents had happened to (former premier) Najib Abdul Razak, (opposition leader) Anwar (Ibrahim), (Umno president) Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and now the prime minister himself.“This is humiliating.
