A Selangor Health exco has expressed disagreement with the implementation of any vaccine mandate.Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said even though she is an advocate for vaccination, she does not believe a person should lose their job over it. “I am for vaccination and would advocate for all to be vaccinated but I am against making it mandatory directly or indirectly, especially to the extent of dismissing them from their jobs,” she tweeted today.This came after the Public Service Department (PSD) announced on Sept 30 that it will make it compulsory for all civil servants of the federal government to be vaccinated against Covid-19 by Nov 1.If any federal public servant is still not inoculated against the virus after the deadline or fails to obtain a legitimate exemption, they can face disciplinary action, the PSD had said.The PSD explained that the vaccine mandate for federal civil serva…
