The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has advised all MPs to support the Budget 2021 for the wellbeing of the people and to heal the economy following the Covid-19 pandemic.The monarch also reiterated his call for MPs to put an end to political bickering.
Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said this after granting a pre-cabinet meeting audience to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin this afternoon.
"Sultan Abdullah advises MPs to give strong support to Budget 2021 for the people's wellbeing and continuity of their lives, as well as to recover the nation's economy which has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic," read a statement issued by Comptroller of the Royal Household Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin.In his statement today, Sultan Abdullah said the budget was important for the government and authorities, especially frontliners, to continue efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.&q…
